Why should you do our FAT-LOSS program?
Firstly, while this program is focussed on stripping the fat, at Move Strong Gymnasium we go far beyond the shallow level of making you look good (which you will, by the way, if you stick to our program!). Our ethos and all that we do at Move Strong lies on the foundation of peak health and wellness. Being overweight or obese is an outward sign that something in your life is out of balance. Being overweight is not wellness and is not healthy. We want to help you change that. We want to help you become the healthiest human being that you possibly can be. We want to help you feel energised, confident, and have the ability to run around like a kid all day. We want you to take control over the choices you make with movement, sleep, stress, and what you put into your mouth. We want you to be happy and to feel empowered.

Secondly, there are many bad trainers out there with little experience and knowledge. Bad trainers who will get you to perform pointless isolated exercises or run on a treadmill until you’re so bored out of your brain that you never want to go back to them again. Bad trainers who are dangerous, who get you to perform elaborate movements incorrectly or who torture you with insane prolonged WODs or boxing classes that leave you rundown, exhausted or injured. Bad trainers who don’t think for themselves, who shout you through a Step or Pump or Grit class, who don’t even know your name or how you move or what makes you tick. Had a trainer like this? Thirdly, it is a common misconception that to lose fat you need to do countless amounts of cardio. We’re here to tell you that you don’t have to do hours and hours of mindless jogging or Step or boxing classes. We guarantee that you will lose weight doing our three intense strength-based sessions per week, as long as you also adhere to our Fat-Loss eating program. Strength training builds lean muscle mass, which both increases your metabolism and decreases fat. The more muscle you build, the more fat you burn on a day-to-day basis. If you’re female – don’t fret! You’re not going to end up looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger. You will simply look trim and tight in all the right places!
Fourth, our Fat-Loss program also includes a 12-Week Wellness Nutrition & Lifestyle plan geared towards fat-loss. Fat-loss roughly involves 20% training, 80% eating the right foods (some experts argue a 10% / 90% split). We will ask you to keep a food dairy every week so you – and your coach – can monitor what you are eating. We can not emphasise enough the importance of clean eating when it comes to fat-loss and health and wellness in general.
Finally, we ask for a 12-week commitment to the Fat-Loss Program. 12-weeks is a realistic time-frame to really see and reap the results of our program. 12-weeks will also help you to make living this way (training regularly and smartly, and eating clean) part of your lifestyle. We don’t believe this to be a ‘fad’ or ‘yoyo’ program – nor is it a quick fix. While you are guaranteed to lose fat in 12-weeks if you adhere to this program, you will need to continue living this way to maintain your weight. After 12-weeks, you are free to cancel, however, we’re pretty sure you’ll be hooked with Move Strong and will want to continue with Private Coaching or assimilate to our CrossFit Group Training program for a more cost-effective option.

In just four months, Nicole went from 23.5% to 16.1% body fat while doing our Fat-Loss Private Coaching Program!
