It’s been a long time between posts, I’ve been doing work, but recently I’ve struggled with time to do what I regularly do, so I needed to change things up a little bit. This program is what I followed (with a few tweaks) last year I think, when I was in a similar situation. I call this program – The Bigdog Protocol 6.0!

I woke up really early this morning when Poppy came into bed with us and kept side kicking me in the back and hitting me in the face in her sleep. She was brutal so I got up and had a shower and can into the gym early at like 0400hrs. By the time I warmed up and loosened out a bit and had some food I was ready to lift by 0430hrs. I had a great session and was pumped for coaching the 0500hrs session.

A. Deadlifts (Rep Effort Day) – E2.5min x 4rds
4 x 6 @ 155kg

I really wanted to get in something else today, but no rep! I had back to back clients and had to run errands during the middle of the day. We’ll see what tomorrow brings in.
